The pores and skin lesions that show up in the beginning phases of Lupus
Discoid lupus erythematosus is present under the form of large volume lesions with circular aspect. Like all sorts of lupus, it also has an auto immune character: the immune system doesn’t defend the body type from the viruses or bacteria but assaults its healthy tissues, which causes pores and skin lesions. Long term photo voltaic exposure significantly worsens discoid lupus treatment. The neck, face, arms and scalp are the most affected locations in which the lesions appear. But it is not compulsory for them to be the only components: lesions may also appear on the back, lower limbs or chest, which endorses the advancement into systemic lupus erythematosus.
